Race to Zero

B Corp Climate Collectives around the world are all part of the global Race to Zero campaign, a UN-backed global campaign rallying non-state actors including companies, cities, regions, financial and educational institutions to take rigorous and immediate action to halve global emissions by 2030 and achieve a net-zero world by 2050. 

In December 2019 at the UN Climate Change Conference COP25 in Madrid, more than 500 certified B Corps took the stage and publicly committed to accelerating greenhouse gas emissions reductions, specifically achieving net-zero emissions in their companies by 2030 -- 20 years ahead of the 2050 Paris Agreement targets. 

As of September 2021, more than 1,600 companies including 1000+ certified B Corps have made this commitment. 

All Net Zero by 2030 companies pledged via the B Corp Climate Collective are all part of the UNFCCC.
